President
Having been an independent insurance broker/agent for over 35 years, I have had the privilege and honor of servicing clients from PA, NY, NJ, CT and many other states in our nation. As President of Seide, Jonas and Cohen and now Cohen Partners LLC, my clients have ranged from retailers, wholesalers, professionals, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, personal accounts, and many more. Our staff is ready and able to handle a variety of risks to guide our clients to their most beneficial programs.
The diversity of our clientele makes my role as President, broker, financial consultant, risk manager, and liaison exciting and refreshing with ever account. In the beginning of 2013, I was honored to join the Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Development Corp. It is exciting and energizing to be part of the economic growth of Montgomery County, and hope to contribute to the business development of this vibrant community. Among my extra activities, I am also pleased to be on the Board of Directors of the Voice Experience of Savannah, which honors the world-renowned Baritone Sherrill Milnes and brings Opera to a larger audience. I am also a member of the Richard Tucker Foundation which honors the legacy of Richard Tucker, opera Tenor. My wife and I are also pleased to be part of Friends Without a Border, March of Dimes, and The American Friends of Rabin Medical Center. My passions are as varied as possible, with a love for golf, ice-hockey, travel and music.
Commercial Lines Manager
Daniel is a Commercial Executive and Commercial Lines Director of Cohen Partners, LLC and a licensed Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health insurance broker. He works with various industries and businesses to provide comprehensive property & casualty programs for all commercial insurance products. In addition to his expertise in commercial insurance programs and practices, Daniel specializes in cyber insurance products and cyber risk for tech and non-tech companies alike. He holds the Cyber COPE Insurance Certification (CCIC) from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Policy & Information Systems, and has presented at numerous cyber security, legal, and ethics seminars to promote knowledge of cyber insurance programs and education of underlying risk factors.
Controller
Renuka was born and raised in New Delhi, India, where she also obtained her BA and MA degrees from Delhi University. From Delhi, Renuka moved to NYC in 1978, where she joined Frankel & Company as a Staff Accountant. Renuka joined Zapin Endlich & Lombardo as Controller in 1987 where she built out the finance and accounting functions for 11 years before joining Seide, Jonas and Cohen in 1998 as Controller. With Cohen Partners’ spin out of Seide, Jonas & Cohen in 2000, Renuka joined as the inaugural Controller, a position she continues to hold today. Renuka also maintains a very active printmaking practice and has shown her work at multiple galleries, the Queens Museum and had her first solo show in 2019 at the Manhattan Graphics Center in New York. Renuka is extremely proud to be a part of the Cohen Partners’ team and looks forward to continuing to work tirelessly on behalf of our customers.
Sales
Jason E. Salus has held his Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license since 2008. He has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. For six years, Jason worked for a global accounting and consulting firm, specializing in forensic accounting. Following that he served as the Director of Real Estate Development for a non-profit community development corporation in Philadelphia. Jason is the Treasurer of Montgomery County, PA, having been elected in 2011. Prior to that he served on Conshohocken Borough Council, where he established the Business Development Commission to promote commerce and business in the fast-growing town. In 2010, the Montgomery County Commissioners appointed him to the the board of the Montgomery County Industrial Development Authority. In 2013, the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives appointed him to the Pennsylvania 529 Tuition Account Program Advisory Board. Salus holds an MBA from Temple University and a B.S. in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
